01
Handle immediate safety before the repair
After a collision, check for injuries and call 911 when emergency help is needed. Move to a safe location only when doing so is safe and legal. Do not stand in an active traffic lane to photograph damage or retrieve property. Emergency personnel and conditions at the scene take priority over arranging body work.
A vehicle may need a tow when it has leaking fluids, steering or braking concerns, a tire rubbing damaged bodywork, broken glass that limits visibility, damaged lighting, deployed safety equipment, severe panel movement, or another condition that makes driving questionable. This is not a complete safety checklist. When in doubt, do not drive and seek qualified help.
02
Call with the details needed to coordinate transport
Tell Spargo where the vehicle is, whether it is in a roadway, residence, tow yard, or another shop, what damage is visible, whether the wheels roll, and where the keys are. Share the year, make, model, plate or VIN when available, a reliable contact number, and the destination address: 1175 S Lipan Street Unit B, Denver, CO 80223.
The towing provider may need to confirm vehicle access, equipment, release authorization, storage status, payment, and timing. Ask who is providing the tow, what it will cost, where the vehicle will be delivered, and what happens if it arrives outside shop hours.
03
Document the vehicle before it moves
When it is safe, photograph the vehicle from each side, the damaged areas, the scene, and any loose or detached parts. Keep towing receipts, storage paperwork, police information, and claim details together. Remove valuables if you can do so safely, but do not enter an unstable vehicle or active roadway to retrieve them.
If the vehicle is at an impound lot or another facility, ask what identification, ownership documents, payment, or release form is required. Those rules belong to the facility and provider; Spargo cannot guarantee access or release.
04
Begin the repair intake after arrival
Once the vehicle reaches Spargo, the shop can document the visible damage and discuss the next inspection and estimate step. Towing a vehicle to the shop does not by itself authorize repairs or establish a final price. Hidden damage and vehicle condition still determine the repair plan.
If an insurance claim is involved, keep the towing invoice and share the claim contact information. Spargo can provide repair documentation and communicate about the vehicle, while the insurer decides whether towing, storage, and repair costs are covered.

Towing & Non-Drivable Vehicle Help questions
Does Spargo own or operate the tow truck?+
Spargo helps coordinate towing to the Denver shop and is not presented as the towing provider. The provider, equipment, availability, arrival time, and charges should be confirmed when the tow is arranged.
How much will the tow cost?+
Cost depends on the provider, distance, vehicle condition, required equipment, access, storage, and timing. Ask the towing provider for the price and payment terms before authorizing transport. Insurance reimbursement, if any, depends on the policy and insurer decision.
Can my vehicle be moved from a tow yard or another shop?+
Often it can, but the current facility may require identification, ownership documents, payment, or a signed release. Call Spargo with the vehicle location, then confirm the release requirements and accumulated charges directly with the facility holding the vehicle.
What if the vehicle arrives after Spargo closes?+
Call Spargo and the towing provider before dispatch so the delivery plan is clear. Do not assume a vehicle or keys can be left after hours without specific instructions. Provider availability and after-hours access vary.
